Frequently Asked Questions
What do you consider a 'free month'
We apply a $100 credit on your account, which is what we refer to as a ‘free month’. In general, $100 covers at least one Cove policy for a month – for many of our customers this will provide a holiday from premium payments for a month. For some there might still be an amount to pay following the application of the credit.
What is my referral code?
You won’t actually be able to see your referral code. When you share Cove your referral code will be managed behind the scenes by us. All you need to do is use the Cove share functionality within your MyCove account, and we’ll take care of the management of tracking shares behind the scenes!
Where can I see how much I’ve earned?
Click the “Activity Summary” option from the Refer a Friend menu within MyCove.
How are free months applied?
This is an automatic process which happens magically behind the scenes as the vouchers become available for use. Once your friend has paid their first renewal you’ll get your free month.
Are vouchers refundable?
Discounted months are not refundable, even as credit. For example, if you buy a $25 policy and cancel within our 14 day cooling-off period, your free month is reduced to $75, not $100.
