Social Media Competition Terms

1. By entering a Cove Limited (“Cove”) Website, Facebook or Instagram competition (“Social Competition”) you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. To be eligible for entry into a Social Competition you must: a) follow all instructions outlined in the relevant Social Competition post, and b) be a New Zealand permanent resident.
3. Staff of Cove and their immediate families are not eligible to enter any Social Competitions.
4. Each Social Competition will be open for entry until the closing date and subject to any conditions or instructions stated in the relevant Social Competition post.
5. To the extent of any inconsistency in the information shown on a Social Competition post and these Social Media Competition Terms, these Social Media Competition Terms will prevail.
6. Winners will be selected either via:
   1. A random draw to determine the winner for each competition will take place on the closing date stipulated in the relevant Social Competition post; or
   2. Cove staff selection based on quality of entry, in the cases where an entry is completed via written feedback or suggestions.
7. The Social Competition winner’s name will be announced by Cove in the comments for the relevant Social Competition post as soon as reasonably possible after the closing date (“Announcement”). The winner must message Cove in accordance with any instructions in the Announcement. If the winner has not messaged Cove in accordance with the instructions in the Announcement or within working 48 hours from the date of the Announcement, Cove may declare that participant’s entry invalid and may, at its discretion, arrange for another random draw to determine a new winner for the Social Competition.
8. The prize for each Social Competition will be announced in the relevant Social Competition post. A prize cannot be exchanged for any other prize or cash.
9. By entering a Social Competition you agree to:
   1. the announcement of your name as the winner in any media as Cove determines;
   2. participation in any reasonable publicity in relation to the relevant Social Competition at Cove’s cost;
   3. Cove’s use of your personal information to contact you in relation to the Social Competition and to tell you about products or services of Cove that you may be interested in.
10. Cove will not be liable for any loss, claim, cost, expense, liability or injury (“Loss”) suffered by any person in any way associated with a Social Competition including as a result of entry into a Social Competition or winning a Social Competition prize, except where such Loss cannot be excluded by law.
11. Cove’s decision on all matters relating to any Cove Social Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Cove reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions and to extend, postpone or cancel a Social Competition at any time.
12. Participation in a Cove competition will automatically add you to future Cove communications via your submitted email address, which you can opt out of at anytime.
